A brand new decor feature, Living Now is dedicated to showcasing and highlighting the interior trends and decor themes for 2012. The feature has been divided into 4 separate designated stands in which each room will demonstrate how to create a living area that will be hip, modern and trendy. Participating decorators will be aiming their designs at visitors who have come to the show with a purpose of redecorating their homes, inspiring them with fresh new ideas and trends.
HOMEMAKERS have teamed up with Ideas magazine and their readers and are taking Yarn Bombing to the next level! One of the biggest highlights at the expo will showcase a house as well as its contents entirely covered in wool! The public will be donating knitted and crocheted woollen shapes of all colours and sizes which will be used to Yarn Bomb a creative masterpiece. After the event all wool creations will be donated to the organisation Knit a Square who will join all the items together to make blankets, scarves and woollen hats for charity.
With its prime positioning centre stage of the show, the Builders Warehouse DIY How-to Theatre is bound to be a main attraction. Experts from the building and decor industry will inspire and enlighten visitors to revamp their homes with an array of nifty DIY tips and projects. Demonstrations and advice regarding furnishing, decor and DIY ideas will certainly get any home enthusiasts fingers itching to undertake a DIY venture. The area will be set up as a “talk show” with a captivated audience in the form of visitors that come to the show.
