Complimentary Invitations

This form needs to be completed.
Once you have completed the form, you will receive an e-ticket via email with a unique registration number, this ticket must be shown to security to gain access the expo.
Valid for either of the four show days.
Deliveries
The Organisers or any service providers will not take delivery of any goods whatsoever on any Exhibitor’s behalf, nor will the Organisers accept responsibility for the safety or keeping of any such items unloaded and/or delivered to the site in the absence of any Exhibitor, his agent or contractor. Deliveries on show days will not be handled by TST On-Site Management & Logistics.
Please note: No deliveries will be permitted to be made to the exhibition hall after 09:30 Thursday or Friday and 08:30 Saturday or Sunday.

Exhibitor Badges & Parking Permits
All principle exhibitors are requested to register on arrival for Build-up at the Organisers Office on the Mezzanine Level. Five Exhibitor Permits and five Parking Permits are issued per stand.
For security reasons, please ensure Exhibitor Badges are worn at all times during show days (Thursday – Sunday). Parking permits to be displayed on vehicles for the duration of the expo.
The Organisers reserve the right to confiscate any permits being misused by exhibitors. Exhibitor permits may not be handed to non-exhibitors to gain access to the show in order to avoid paying the entrance fee.
Exhibitors will be denied access to the venue, should Exhibitor Badges not be displayed.
Additional Exhibitor Badges can be ordered prior. A maximum of 5 extra Exhibitor Badges per exhibitor may be ordered at R45-00 per badge.
Note: Extra Exhibitor Badges must be ordered before services deadline to determine print quantity. Please complete Form No. 2.
Parking
Exhibitors’ parking during show time will be located in Block A and B car park on a “first come, first serve” basis. Due to limited parking in Block A and B, overflow parking for Exhibitors will be allocated in Parking G (across from the venue off Northumberland Road). Thereafter Exhibitors to park in public parking, where a parking fee will be charged.
Exhibitor Parking Permits to be displayed for ease of identification by the Traffic Officials. Parking is limited, therefore the allocation of parking permits is strictly controlled. Please note that after 10h00 daily, should there be space in Block A and B, this will also be used for Visitor Parking.

Any illegally parked vehicles will be towed away, i.e. in front of entrances to halls, blocking of aisles and doorways. Exhibitors entrance to the venue during show times will be at Entrance 3 on the Main Arena Level (This entrance is not open to the public). Exhibitors transporting visitors must drop them off at the visitors entrance prior to parking in the Exhibitors Parking Block.
Products To Be Exhibited
The product to be exhibited is stated on the contract to exhibit. The Organisers reserve the right to prevent companies not contracted to exhibit from coming on the show and “sharing” exhibition space without prior notification and approval from the Organisers.
The exhibitor listing in the Show Guide and Expo Newspaper is printed at the Organisers’ discretion and is limited to contracted Gauteng HOMEMAKERS Expo Exhibitors.
The product profile must be strictly in line with the home enhancement and home improvement profile of HOMEMAKERS Expo. Products/services being exhibited are to be specified on the contract and will be assessed by the Organisers for suitability. Exhibitors are not to deviate from what has been specified on the contract.
Companies exhibiting in the various themed areas, stand concept, design and products exhibited must be in line with the relevant themes on the mezzanine level.
Exhibitors in retail or direct sales doing demonstrations on their stands are to refrain from using lapel microphones and are required to monitor and control the sound level emanating from their stands.
Complete Form No. 4 confirming product/s to be exhibited on the Expo. The Show Guide and Expo Newspaper is printed detailing Exhibitor contact details and products - errors and omissions excepted.
Deadline for this Form is 23 January 2012
In general:
- Exhibitors may not hand out pamphlets from any location other than their stands. Any pamphlets will be confiscated, especially those of companies not exhibiting at the expo.
- At the Organisers’ discretion alterations to stands or removal of items from stands may be necessary in the interest of the show as a whole.
- If demonstrations cause obstructions within the aisles or affect neighbouring Exhibitors, the Organisers reserve the right to take appropriate action
- The Organisers reserve the right to lower the volume of sound systems / noise emanating from an Exhibitor’s stand, which becomes disruptive to the Expo and neighbouring Exhibitors.
- Only the products listed on the contract/form no. 4 to exhibit may be displayed at the expo.
Show Times
Thursday & Friday: 10:00 – 19:00 | Saturday & Sunday: 09:00 – 18:00
Exhibitors are to remain on their stands until the venue is cleared of visitors each evening.
These show times will appear on advertising material and must be adhered to by all exhibitors.
NB: Exhibitors to ensure that stands are manned at all times.
For security purposes Exhibitors will be allowed access to the exhibition area one hour before the exhibition opens and must leave the premises within 30 minutes of close of show daily, at which time the venue will be locked and will remain locked until the following day.
Smoking Policy
The Coca-Cola Dome, Northgate, is a non-smoking venue. There will be designated smoking areas outside the relevant entrances.
Venue Regulations
Roller Doors:
- No roller door may be manually opened under any circumstances by Exhibitors.
Roof and Catwalk:
- No banners will be allowed to be suspended from the roof or catwalk.
Lifts and Escalators:
- Access to the escalators and lifts must be kept clear at all times.
- There are two sets of escalators between the mezzanine level and the main arena.
- There are two lifts in the venue – one close to Entrance 1 and one at Entrance 7.
- The escalators and lifts will only be operational during show days.
Damage
Ensure adequate floor protection, in the form of heavy duty plastic is laid down before build-up of stands where materials are used which may cause damage to the floor (eg. tiles, concrete, bricks, sand, etc). Exhibitors to be respectful of the venue and not to damage the floor that has been repaired.
Exhibitors shall not:
- Allow the drilling of holes, driving in of nails or screws, painting or in any other way allow any damage to any floor, walls, ceiling, windows, doors, fixtures or fittings on the Property of the Coca-Cola Dome, Northgate;
- Allow the removal of any fence or demarcation equipment, plant, material, or in any other way cause damage to the same;
- Allow the digging of any holes, the uplifting, painting or otherwise damage to any paving;
- Without the prior written consent of the Organisers, which will not be unduly withheld:
- Suspend any object from any ceiling or roof construction;
- Tamper with, or make any changes to any electrical or other technical installation or reticulation in the Venue or on the Property;
- Bring any article into any building in the Venue, which would exceed the floor loading limits;
- Allow washing or cleaning of paint equipment anywhere other than in the facilities provided for this purpose. In particular, Exhibitors shall not use any of the toilet facilities for this purpose;
- Use flammable liquids /open flames and gas under any circumstances.
The exhibitor concerned shall be responsible for and shall repair, to the satisfaction of the Coca-Cola Dome, Northgate, any damage to the Property and the Venue. Failure to do so within seven days after the last Breakdown Date 27 February 2012, the exhibitor will be liable to pay damage costs as invoiced by the Coca-Cola Dome.
The Coca-Cola Dome, Northgate may without notification to the Organisers and at its sole discretion, carry out repairs to restore the Property and recover costs from the Exhibitor, which shall be payable on demand. Should any floor area be damaged in any way, a charge of R600-00 (excl.) per square metre will be charged with an additional 5% administration levy and a charge of R1815-00 (excl.) per square meter will be charged for any damage in terms of drilling, driving into venue.
Height Restrictions
Please note height restrictions for the following stand locations:
- Main Arena:
- Stand No’s / Height Restriction
- UMA1-8 : 3 Metres (Under mezzanine)
- UMB1-12: 3 Metres (Under mezzanine)
- Mezzanine Level:
- All stands have a 2,5 metre height restriction (dependant on ducting underneath level).
Due to the above height restrictions and standard dimensions on these stands, it is recommended that exhibitors make the necessary arrangements to meet on site to ensure that designer stands meet these dimensions.
